In this episode, I'm going to be sharing all about the true purpose of human design and Gene keys when it comes to your business. This is the first episode of a 4-episode series all about human design and business. So, if you landed here, you are in the perfect place to begin this four-week journey. Let's dive in.

If you’ve been following me, you know that in early May I took a 2-week vacation from my business, where my husband and I went to Maui and did our best to completely unplug. It was wonderful.

One of the things I love about creating intentional space in my life and business is that it makes room for ideas and inspiration to flow through so much more easily than when we are caught up in all the notifications and news that distract us from our intuition and messages and downloads.

Honestly, coming out on the other side of this vacation makes me want to unplug like this more often, but that’s a different story for a different day. But during this time, I let my mind wander really deep into the systems of human design and gene keys and why they are just so important to anyone who is on a journey of personal growth and self-development.

Many experts talk about what these systems are and how they work, and perhaps they even get into how you can effectively and practically use them in your life—on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. This is all great.

But the question that is not often addressed or answered is not the WHAT or the HOW... but rather the WHY.

1. Ultimately, what is the true purpose of human design and gene keys and why are there so many experts out there, including me, doing a lot of work to convince you why you too should be paying attention to these systems and using them in your own life as well?

Most people I talk to believe or are led to believe, that these systems, and particularly human design, serve as an operating manual for them on their human journey.

They dive in, hoping to find all the answers to their purpose and their place in this crazy and chaotic world. They see it as like an instruction manual that you get with your car. Where it gives you troubleshooting and it tells you exactly how to start your car, here's where the lights are, whatever all of those things are. That's what many people think about human design and then they take that operating manual and they dive in. This also included me.

They are hoping human design and Gene Keys will just give them an answer, and the truth is that they are looking outside of themselves hoping to find these answers to temporarily calm the mental pressure they are fielding every day. The lingering questions that, if answered, will help them feel safer and at home on this particular human journey.

This was probably 3 or 4 years ago, but it still comes up for me now and then. Looking outside of yourself to get the answer because you have so much internal mental pressure to find the answer to your questions. You're hoping that these answers will calm your mind and by finding the answer that those questions go away.

And if this is you, unfortunately, today I’m here to burst your bubble a bit. But if it makes you feel any better, I had high hopes that these systems would be the answer to my deepest, darkest questions too, until I truly understood these systems on a deeper level.

Yes, these systems can temporarily calm that mental pressure that they are fielding every single day. Those lingering questions that if they're answered will help you feel safer and at home in this crazy human journey that we're all on here.

As I began to understand these systems on a deeper level and what their true purpose is, it shifted my perspective on them and how I use them in my own business, and so on. I'm ready to share that with you here, and all of this is to say that I completely understand and resonate with where you're coming from if you're hoping that by just understanding:-

2. What’s in your energetic blueprint?

Your gene keys have a hologenetic profile help you understand some of the big questions in your life.

For those cut-and-dried, black-and-white answers to some of the biggest mysteries of the universe, like your purpose and your energy, holding out hope for black and white completely dampens or stamps out any magic that lingers in the space between the polarities of the multiverse. 

If you remove any of the magic or all of the magic that exists in these systems and on this journey that you're on, I'm not going to say that you're not going to find some sort of hidden relief within this wisdom as you learn it. But that’s not its purpose. That’s not how this wisdom provides its biggest impact. 

A straightforward answer to life’s biggest questions is not what unleashes the magic of the universe. So then, what IS the TRUE purpose of human design and gene keys? Are you ready for it?

The purpose of human design & gene keys is to strengthen your own intuition

The true purpose of Human Design and Gene Keys is really to strengthen your own intuition and to develop your own inner guidance system.

It is all about your intuition, strengthening it, and building your connection with your own internal guidance system. Human Design and Gene Keys are not tools to help you navigate the external world. They are tools to help you increase your trust and give you confidence as you navigate it.

What's happening in your internal world that will help you navigate the outer world? Human Design and Gene Keys are really the inner work and by using these tools to help you with your inner work, they develop and strengthen your confidence. They strengthen your intuition and your connection with your intuition, and the stronger your connection is with your intuition, the easier it is to navigate that external world.

The Big Perspective Shift We Must Face

This is a big shift, especially because we have been conditioned from a very young age to always look outside of ourselves for answers and guidance from parents, teachers, and coaches. We were all taught that no matter how much life you’ve lived, there is always someone who knows more or knows better than you that you need to listen to.

This gets me really fired up because this is something that was a huge realization for me and has been a huge shift for me in my own personal journey. We are conditioned to look outside of ourselves for answers and so we do. And we do this to the detriment of our physical health and our mental health, chasing things like accolades and material possessions. We chase the things that we're told that we should want, and we ignore and discredit our own intuition day after day, decision after decision without a second thought.  

That's what we're conditioned to do just to push our intuition to the side and trust whoever that person or entity is outside of us, our parents, our coaches, our mentors. We're taught to push our own intuition aside and listen to that external guidance, and we're taught to do that without a second thought. If our intuition contradicts what that external person or thing is telling us, we're taught to ignore our intuition and suppress it. 

Since the moment we left the womb, we were taught to look outside of ourselves. And so for me, I know specifically personally, and I'm sure for a lot of you, this is layers and layers of inner work to unravel this conditioning, and while I feel like I've come a long way in it, I'm by no means perfect. But I feel like this is something we can all relate to on some level. And I'm here to say that there's nowhere more apparent that this pattern to look outside of ourselves and suppress our intuition exists than in the online business world. 

Every single day you are bombarded with thousands of messages about how you have to do x/y/z in order to be successful or you aren’t entitled to an opinion until your business makes a certain amount of money.

Even when your intuition starts to speak, you hesitate to listen or choose to suppress it because that’s what you’ve been told to do your entire life. And this cycle continues to perpetuate, and quite frankly, I’m tired of it.

As you are following a particular mentor and your intuition starts to speak up and say, "I don't know about this” but you're conditioned through this messaging through the ads, through the marketing copy, and all of these things to ignore it. It’s conditioning that we've been subjected to our entire life makes you potentially hesitate to even listen, or you choose to suppress that intuition actively because that's what you've been doing your entire life. 

It's easy to just suppress it or say “nope, I’ll listen to someone else instead” or “my intuition is incorrect because this person's strategy made this person a million dollars” and this cycle continues to be perpetuated in the online business world. 

And to be honest, I'm sick of it because when you pull away from the layers when you begin to unpeel the layers of the onion in the grand scheme of things, your intuition is your ultimate source of truth. Full stop. 

If you only take away from me today or ever… your intuition is your source of truth. The only way that you are ever going to be able to build a successful business is to follow your intuition to nurture it, love it, trust it and act on it no matter where you're at in your business journey. We are all at different places when it comes to nurturing that relationship with our intuition. Some of us are very in tune. Some of us are still learning to trust it.

If you are always working against yourself, it is only going to cause frustration, anger, and resentment. If you are doing a job or something that you really don't fully love, then why are you building a business if you're not going to love every single ounce of it and feel really good about every single little piece of it? It makes no sense. You might as well go get another corporate job or stay in your existing corporate job.

So if you're at the point where you're still building your relationship with your intuition, that’s totally okay. There's always more that we can do to really strengthen that connection.

Human design and gene keys are extremely effective at helping you tap into your internal guidance and take aligned action with confidence.

When most people are learning about human design or when I give readings to my clients the thing that I always notice about these systems is human design and gene keys more often than not validate or confirm.

What my client already knows is true on a deep and sometimes hidden or suppressed level. There are very few surprises that come through when I do readings or when I work with my one-on-one clients. Yes, there's maybe a new way to think of things or they get a new perspective or it's a new awareness, but it's never something that just blows them away in a completely unexpected way. 

It's always something that they know deep down and maybe they either suppressed it. Or maybe they get a new way of looking at it from a new perspective. But it's never surprising in the way that it changes everything for them. 

If there is something new or that they didn't know about themselves yet Until I reveal it to them through my work with them, it gives them tools and techniques to experiment with and to test that build that self-trust that increases their confidence in their own intuition. 

Every time I go into elements of someone's human design or Gene Keys, either they say, “I knew that, it resonates so deeply” or "This kind of makes sense, but I didn't know this about myself, how can I maybe think about this or do things differently knowing this information?” 

That’s kind of the 2 ways things go. It's either confirmed What their intuition was already telling them, or how to access their intuition in a new way. 

These systems exist to give you permission to finally surrender to what you intuitively know to be true but haven't allowed yourself to admit or act on yet. That is the purpose of these systems.

Human design & gene keys give you that permission to trust and love and act in alignment with what your intuition is telling you. 

These systems give you the tools that you need to sift and filter through that noise while maintaining the center of your groundedness so that you stay crystal clear on what the correct decisions and actions are for you.

Human design and Gene Keys gives you the tools you need to filter through all of that messaging that tries to pull you out of your center. It helps you stay centered and grounded because you have that strong connection to your own intuition, and therefore, you know what's best for you and you can take action in alignment with what's best for you. These systems do not have operating manuals. 

They are efficient tools that helps you recognize, and almost autocorrect, what's happening in your life or decisions or paths you're going down. They help you re-center yourself with greater ease and more effectively as you continue to leverage their wisdom and once you realize that you.

You already have all of the answers that you need within yourself, within your knowing, within your intuition, once you realize that you have all of these answers for your business and beyond. Your job is to develop your intuition so you can observe all the noise without being negatively impacted by it.

You can consult your intuition to objectively discern what is right for you and what isn’t when it comes to building your dream business and on your journey ahead. It’s your job to strengthen your intuition and human design, and gene keys are some of the most effective tools that exist for you to do that.
