Ego Authority Human Design: How to Make Aligned Decisions

human design ego authority

You’re about to learn how to use your Human Design Ego Authority to make aligned decisions in your business and life. In addition to Ego Authority, there is also Ego Manifested Authority, which is characterized by individuals making decisions driven by their true desires and life purpose.

If you’re like most people, you are taught to look outside of yourself to make decisions, or to use your mind to make a logical or rational decision. This can often lead to frustration or constantly questioning yourself and the decisions that you’ve made.

Here, you’re going to learn that the most aligned decisions and guidance actually comes from within using your own intuition and human design. Your inner truth comes from one very specific place.

This inner truth is called your authority. You can use your authority for all types of decisions that you make throughout your day and your life. It’s your most consistent and reliable internal source of energy. And it gives you clear guidance about whether something such as decisions or opportunities are correct for you or not.

It might take some time and practice to learn how to tap into your authority and interpret what it’s telling you through all that mind chatter that you might have. And if you’re just getting started, I recommend that you practice using your authority to make small decisions at first so you can consistently access and act on this feedback.

Once you get used to working with your authority and trusting its guidance, then you can begin to use it for bigger decisions.

What is Ego Authority in Human Design?

Ego Authority in Human Design refers to a unique type of inner authority that is deeply connected to the Ego Center, also known as the Will Center. This authority is characterized by a direct connection between the Ego Center and either the Throat Center or the G Center. This direct connection allows individuals to make decisions based on their inner authority and the energy of their ego center.

Ego Authority is quite rare, found in only about 1% of the population, and is typically associated with Manifestors and Projectors. For those with Ego Authority, decision-making is driven by their willpower and desires. They are designed to act independently and make decisions that align with their true desires, without being swayed by external opinions or societal expectations.

Understanding and embracing your Ego Authority means recognizing that your most aligned decisions come from following your heart’s true desires. This inner guidance is your most reliable source of energy and direction, helping you navigate life in a way that is authentic and fulfilling.

Understanding Ego Projected Authority

Ego Projected Authority is a specific type of authority unique to Projectors within the Human Design system. This authority is characterized by a direct connection between the Ego Center and the G Center, enabling Projectors to make decisions based on their inner authority and the energy of their ego center.

Unlike Manifestors with Ego Authority, Projectors with Ego Projected Authority need to wait for an invitation before making decisions. This means they should ask themselves questions like “What do I want?” and “What’s in it for me?” to ensure their decisions are aligned with their true desires and willpower.

Projectors with Ego Projected Authority often face more conditioning due to their many open centers, which can make them more susceptible to external influences. Therefore, it’s crucial for them to be mindful of their energy and decision-making process. By staying true to their inner authority and focusing on their own desires, they can make decisions that are both aligned and empowering.

Aligning with Your Ego Center

Aligning with your Ego Center is essential for individuals with Ego Authority, whether they are Manifestors or Projectors. This process involves understanding and honoring your inner authority and the energy of your ego center, making decisions that truly reflect your desires and willpower.

To align with your Ego Center, it’s important to develop a strong connection with your body and its energy centers. Practices such as meditation, self-reflection, and physical activity can help you tune into your inner authority. Additionally, learning to communicate your needs and desires effectively is crucial. Use your voice to express your inner authority and ego center, ensuring that your decisions are heard and respected.

By aligning with your Ego Center, you can make decisions that are in line with your true nature, leading to a more authentic and fulfilling life. Trusting your inner authority and following your heart’s desires will guide you towards a path that is uniquely yours, allowing you to live in alignment with your Human Design.

As an Ego Authority, your most aligned decisions are made when you follow your heart's true desires, unapologetically.

Whatever is the most selfish decision you can make is actually the most aligned decision for you. Individuals with Ego Manifested Authority are driven by their desires and willpower, enabling them to make impactful decisions and navigate their life purpose authentically. It’s important for you to recognize your desires, to get clear on what you want and why you want it.

Is it truly what you want or do you want it because it’s what others want your ability to be a good person or meet the expectations of your friends, family members, or parents shouldn’t interfere with your decision-making process.

Don’t use logic or what is right or wrong to guide you. The life that you desire to live is the life that you are designed to live. This center holds a lot of conditioning, so connect to what you truly desire and just go for it without shame or guilt. Instead of being selfish, it’s actually selfless and of high service to the greater collective.

For small decisions, you have a short and quick communication with your desires.

That'll help you make those fast decisions. Once you are in touch with what you truly want and are comfortable making those "selfish" decisions. So trust yourself, don't let the opinions or voices of others affect how you make decisions.

Your big decisions are also designed to be desire-driven.

There might be a lot of conditioning that you’re going to need to work through to get comfortable, making big decisions that are “selfish”. If it helps think about the outcome of the decision you’re making, what do you gain by making these decisions? What do you stand to lose?

Ego Projectors need to be self-aware and make conscious decisions that align with their true self, reclaiming their power and individuality.

If you don’t, your desires are meant to be direct, for example, do you desire to have a certain thing instead of indirect? So for example, do you desire to have a thing because having it will help people see you in a certain way. So keep it really simple and be very direct with what you want.

That’s how you recognize your use your Human Design Ego Authority. However, if you don’t know how to apply human design principles effectively to each unique aspect of your marketing sales and client attraction strategy, you’re missing out on unlocking the next level of abundance in your business.
